Advantage Media Group has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Manager with experience establishing and managing workflow for marketing client service projects. This person should have experience directly managing a team of Project Managers, upholding team performance based on standard KPIs, and guiding overall project efficiencies. Advantage works with top tier business professionals to position, promote, and market them as the Authorities in their industry, community, or marketplace.
The mission for the Lead Project Manager (LPM) is to oversee the project plan, budget, scope, and timelines of marketing projects, which includes working with publicity, social media, content marketing, and web development teams. The Lead Project Manager should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, persuasive, supportive, and enjoy working collaboratively with others while advocating for Project Manager’s goals and upholding execution standards.
The Lead Project Manager works with the account teams to provide necessary inputs for completion of work, track project expenses, forecast upcoming work, allocate resources, and keep projects up to date and moving forward. Additionally, the LPM works within our Project Management system to track processes and documentation of the Member’s specific terms and goals. The LPM requires familiarity with various process methodologies and experience creating or evaluating workflows for efficiencies.
The outcomes expected of this individual are:
Serve as the leader for a team of up to 8 Project Managers. Conducts individual ongoing performance assessments, holding team accountable, and maintaining high-standards for performance. Create goals and KPIs that contribute to the company growth plan. Ability support career development and experience with people management is key. The LPM will also be responsible for onboarding/training and hiring of the Project Management team, as needed, including forecasting department capacity and evaluating needs/resources to support the team.
Support company goals of on-time delivery and Member renewal. Work with the Project Managers and other leaders within the marketing department to achieve >95% project milestones delivered on time to the Member. Provide back end support to your team in delivering an “Enjoyable, Fun, and Prosperous Membership experience.” Success will be reflected by a client’s retention in the Authority Marketing System/Branding Visibility and Marketing program.
Responsible for guiding efficient process workflows – revising, updating, and creating processes, Project Management system ownership, removing roadblocks. Help the team establish standards to support efficiencies in workflow. Maintain standards for forecasting, reporting, budget, and resource planning for all Member services/projects. Periodically evaluate scope, contracts, budget, and overall processes.
Project profitability and budgets – Work to ensure each project meets or exceeds the budgetary guidelines set forth by the contractual relationship established with each Member.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:
At least 10 years of project management experience
At least 5 years of people management experience
SCRUM Master and PMP Certification preferred but not required
Understanding of and/or experience in a marketing agency setting preferred
4-year degree required
