Marketing Project Manager

Advantage Media Group has an exciting opportunity for a project manager with expertise and experience in marketing. Advantage works with top tier business professionals to position, promote, and market them as the thought leader and expert in their industry, community, or marketplace.

The mission for the Project Manager (PM) is to coordinate and plan the client onboarding process and the delivery of the Authority Marketing System, which includes publicity, social media, content marketing, and web development, among the PM’s 6-person account team. The PM serves as SCRUM Master for their account team and is the responsible party for ensuring each account team member delivers their elements of the Authority Marketing System for each client every month. The PM will help create an “Enjoyable, Fun, and Prosperous membership experience” for each client. Success will be reflected by a client’s retention in the Authority Marketing System.

The outcomes expected of this individual are:

  • Serve as a project manager for up to 20 simultaneous clients annually. Our c-level clients require precise execution of the marketing deliverables in our Authority Marketing System. You will organize, plan and manage the execution of deliverables in the Authority Marketing System, including publicity, web design, and content marketing campaigns. This requires excellent communication skills and an ability to manage changes in timing, budget and scope.
  • Manage client budgets and report for your account team. Each Authority Marketing System client has a gross margin target for all deliverables. Coordinate the resources of your account team, track and monitor internal hours spent and external costs.
  • Ensure >95% campaigns are delivered on time to client. Manage the prioritization and workflow of all projects to ensure target timelines can be achieved. Communicate client details internally and externally to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Assist account team in retaining and engaging clients in our Authority Marketing System. Provide back end support to your account team in delivering an “Enjoyable, Fun, and Prosperous Membership experience.” Success will be reflected by a clients retention in the Authority Marketing System.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Must have PASSION for Project Management. A proven track record of success in managing projects is a MUST
  • Must be EXTREMELY detail oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Must be resourceful and able to overcome obstacles on his/her own
  • Superior communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Flexibility to change and adapt to new processes, with a problem-solving mindset
  • 4 year degree required

Positions are in our Charleston, SC office. Team Members are eligible for benefits package after a 3 month review.
