Executive Assistant to COO

 

Advantage Media Group has an exciting opportunity for a talented administrative professional who is looking to dramatically contribute to the success of a growing company. The mission for the Executive Assistant is to keep the COO organized, informed, and on time. The EA’s purpose is to take care of the necessary day-to-day tasks so that the COO can focus on the key strategic priorities of the organization.

The outcomes expected of this individual in are:

  • The COO spends < 30 minutes per day on email.
  • The COO invests > 90% of his professional time on key priorities of the organization.
  • The COO knows schedule and key priorities for the following day at the end of each day.
  • The COO travels with ease. All travel arrangements are calendared and communicated effectively and efficiently.
  • Clients, vendors, and centers-of-influence communicating with you on behalf of the COO are assured, confident, and satisfied.
  • Maintain all executive communication and calendar for COO. Assist other executives with key projects approved by COO or recurring administrative tasks.

  • Excellent communication skills. Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communication, including email.

  • Flexibility/adaptability. Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change.
  • Organization and planning. Plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focuses on key priorities.
  • Proactivity. Acts without being told what to do. Has an ability to foresee needs before they arise.
  • Work ethic. Processes a strong willingness to work hard and sometimes work long hours to get the job done. Has a track record of working hard.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • A proven ability to exercise considerable discretion and independent judgement when making decisions and interacting with Team Members, clients, vendors, and centers-of-influence.
  • Expert working level knowledge in Google Apps for Business (Mail, Calendar, Drive) and Salesforce.com a major plus.
  • Experience dealing with highly-confidential and sensitive information.
  • Prior experience in administrative/support at the executive level is a MUST.
  • Undergraduate degree in relevant area.

Position is in our Charleston, SC headquarters. Team Members are eligible for benefits package after a 3 month review.
